This study focused on the impacts of challenges facing teachers on curriculum implementation in Nyamagana District. The study involved 155 informants namely head of schools, teachers and students. Simple random sampling was used to get the number of students and teachers and purpose sampling was used to get head of schools.
            Questionnaires and interview method were used to get data from the informants. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches were used to analyses the collected data. This study sought to examine how lack of teacher’s accommodation led to failure in completing school syllabus on given time, identify how inadequacy of qualified teachers contributes to failure of students in final examination and find suggestions for challenges facing teachers in curriculum implementation.
             The study found that the availability of accommodation serve teachers to concentrate much in their working as it’s reduce the long working of teachers to reach the school. Also the researcher found several impacts of lacks of teachers housing such as time wastage, increase of living expenses, lower school attendance, tiredness and little teachers preparation.
                This study recommended that government should ensure that it fulfills its duty such as building of teacher’s house, increase teacher’s salary so that teachers could cope with the increased living expenses so that teachers they will be comfortable in teaching profession. Also appropriate selection of candidate for teaching profession and make sure right candidate are selected to join the teaching profession and should be those who perform well in their studies and not those who fail and have no alternative and the applicants must be seen to posses’ personal qualities and characteristics before they are admitted for training.
